Recently I decided to gave a break to movie reviews but after watching Bhramaram I was forced to change the decision.Watched the movie yesterday crossing some barriers which I think every Mohanlal Fan should when intended for a first day watch. Thanks for the efforts taken by My friend Abey George who was in Abhilash for reserving the tickets,He called me after reserving tickets for the second show yesterday,But to the bad luck, film reel was damaged in the second half and all the shows for yesterday were canceled in Abhilash.Anyways I managed to get tickets in JOS PALA for the second show.
The movie starts Mohanlal coming to the house of one old friend with some intentions and the whole movie length is to seven days after that, the plot is simple ,its a Road Trip to Mohanlals house by Mohanlal and the Old friend(the character done by Suresh menon).I dont want to spoil the freshness of the story by saying more about it.
If someone asks me this question I will give a one word reply “Excellent”,Very fresh subject and treatment.I doubt any other one apart from Blessey can treat it as the story is of very small time period(7 days). Most of the scenes are lengthy ones(Some may argue that Passenger is a one day movie, but its a fact that its scenes are small ones and apart from all its just an average or below average movie).Coming to the cinematography I think Ajayan Vincent did an awesome job,the high range areas and jeep scenes were picturized beautifully .The scene in which mohanalal and suresh menon travels through the city in a taxi(In which camera takes a round over )and the scene in which Mohanlal stops the Lorry and giving out a whistle we can see his glance of outstanding cinematography.Blessey scripting was that perfect which made the audience glued in the seat with excited eyes for 2.30 hours.Songs by Mohan Sithara are definitely gonna top the charts in the upcoming days,
Performance wise I have no words to mention Mohanlals performance,Such a brilliant performance!Any single scenes aren’t comparable,Expressions came out as a rain from him and the climax scenes are too brilliant to touch any hardhearted person,Nothing other than a national award is expected.Coming to others Bhoomika looked beautiful but hadn’t much scenes to perform,Suresh Menon did an excellent Job,KPSC Lalita was outstanding and even Baby Niveditha was brilliant.
All in all Bhramaram is a must watch movie, watch it in Theaters and experience a wonderful piece of Fresh Cinema which Malayalam haven’t experienced before!

The Rising star in Direction:-Blessey and the shining star in malayalam film industry:- bharath mohanlaal.. How come the product of the impaact of t thesee two stars will become a bad one?.. never.. In addition to it the cameraman ajayan Vincent has given 100% dedication to his job..and the result.. an another wonderful film to themalayalam industry.. recently our industry was lackiong good films.. The reason was lack ofagood story and a script writer.. Allare saaying thaat there is’nt a new topic to take whichhadnt ome in malayalam films.. but blessey has once again proved that through firm determination and hard work we could stillmakegood films.. he is really a role model to the other directors who are taking films with having a vision to make money only.. Blessey is reallyya gift from god to our industry.. the one who could matchup withpadamarajan . bharathan. and all.. andwhaatto tell about mohanalaal..Through thisfilm He once proved that he’s the best and no one is there to match him with…

“Bramaram” is a MUST watch movie.
My Rating: 3.8/5
I think Mohanlal @ his excellent (not best) performance and his performance in “bramaram” competes his performances in Kireedom,Thanmatra and Baratam.
Some great moments from the movie are:
1. Mohanlal and his friend comes out of bar (in booze) and walks with a trolley bag in zig-zag!
2. Mohanalal shouts to his friend asking “switch off” his mobile.
3. Scenes before the first fight and the way he ridicules the gundas, especially with one leg up on the table and using toes.
4. The scenes of Mohanlal driving NP lorry and the shot where he “whistles” @ the end point of a hill.
5. The climax scene where he asks his old pals to “go away and leave him alone”. I think this is the best shot of the film!
Usually we dont hear claps from the audience @ end of movie but this time I heard, warm claps that honours Mohanlal’s outstanding performance.
To end, its not the story what gives life to movie. Its Mohanlal’s character and his outstanding performance combined with blesseys screenplay and direction skills+cinematography of Ajay vincent!
NEVER MISS THIS MOVIE!

bhramaram
hmmmm though blessy took the movie using a different methodology with more camera gimmicks i don’t think the movie is worth considering his previous ventures such as kazcha & thanmathra
our lalettan does a gr8 performance he definitely deserves a huge round of applause.he showed up his talent again.great performance.tis simply proves how talented and versatile he is.mind blowing acting.and tats wat everyone says abt the movie as well
i strongly feel tat the base story wasn’t tat good to be worked on with.
i feel the trouble is tat blessy the veteran director who always deal with realistic stories did something pretty bad with the story.these r de faults i felt
1.how can a man hide his past and his name from his wife?tat too after 5 years of married life.
2. how can a 5 year old child says tat she is afraid of her father by hearing from someone tat her father is a murderer
3.his wife committing for tat reason is simply too much exaggeration
4.i think blessy tried to make a suspense in the climax as usual. but the climax was predictable and was a cliche
5.the child artiste who was in lalettan’s daughter’s role was hopeless comparing to blessy’s other findings
but i just don’t wanna say the movie is hopeless
it is gud
worth a watch
but it cudn’t be taken to the class of best movies in malayalam
