Lal,the man with Golden touch

Kerala State Cine awards was announced today at 12.00 Pm by Hon: Min MA Baby,As usual Giants like Adoor gopalakrishnan, Mohanlal etc were in the finals.Owing the disputes raised after the Kerala Sahithya Academy Awards,this one was held with perfection and Vigilance(MA BABY said so).

Anyways some of  the results were totally fresh replacing the old giants ,i was shocked to hear that LAL grabbed the award for Best Actor,it may be several factors , The Worlds best Actor (Mohanlal) was competing LAL through his movie PakalNakshathrangal which was critically acclaimed very much,Above all If we check the history of state awards we might doubt whether its made for Mohanlal only! In Mind I too had wish that Mohanlal should grab it as he was my Favorite actor.Anyways coming to LAL i think that he was truly deserving it,While coming out from the Theater after watching Thalappavu ,his character haunted me,And I was damn sure that LAL will get lots of appreciations for his Finest performance in his LIFE,the agony of policeman who was forced to commit a crime was delivered wonderfully,Perfectly by him.2009 happens to be golden year for LAL ,his 2 harihar nagar (As director) is breaking all the collectiion records and is still topping the box office.LAL is a man which I think is a perfect example for Success in Life,What ever field Direction,Acting,Distribution,Production with his golden midas touch was made great successes.He was compelled to act by director jayaraj in the movie KALIYATTOM and for that movie he was rejected in final round for the best supporting actor ,now with the best actor award he has proved once again that he is truly a gold for Malayalam cinema.

Coming to thalappavu,MadhuBal got the award for the best new director,I wont be excited if he got the award for the best director replacing Adoor Gopalakrishnan as because of that Thalappavu was that perfect in direction,The Wayanadan forests and Kuttanad at the same time were picturized beautifully.The only draw back which I found (this may be the reason that Thalappavu wasnt a great success) was that The runtime was limited to  1 hours and 45 minutes ,where as the movie content demanded more than 3 hours(In its perfection),it may have done to reduce the budget.Or thinking  by the  side of Script writer Babu janardanan,The movie might have meant to show the AGONY of LAL rather than showing the WAYANADAN riots(which demanded  3 hrs+ as i said above).Coming to Babu Janardanan,the script was brilliant,I think he is still very much underrated in Malayalam Cinema.Next one is Prithviraj,Whatever he or his acting  be ,but his attitude to Cinema is very much Adorable.He acted in two films which were released simultaneously both of in which he was the second HERO,(THIRAKATHA and THALAPPAVU) both of them were good movies and presence of Prithviraj gave some Profit to both movies(Utilising the star value of PrithviRaj),he has also done this before in lots of other movies like Achanurangatha veedu and all.Just think where he is now, his next movie is  gonna release soon with no one other than   MANIRATHNAM! How many of the actors have this attitude to cinema,In his own words : “Rather than being a Superstar,being a part of good cinema gives me more satisfaction:” And here comes the Quality of Prithviraj.

Anyways I think this years state awards did justice to some extent(Even though Gulmohar was rejected completely).Lets hope for more good cinemas in the Mallu industry,and the words of MA BABY today that Cinema Study will be started in between the studensts is very much promising(EVEN if no good film makers arise,this move will help to mould a good bunch of Sensible Audience!)

How to view your hidden files from the Registry?

I was on a break in Blogging now a days as I had to manage my other sites,But I came to comment in another blog which  made me irresistible to blog again.Considering the shortage of Technical stuffs in this blog ,This post is about hidden files in Windows.

Sometimes you might not be able to change the option to Show the hidden files in your windows(May be of virus or any other) so that hidden files remain hidden itself.Here is a fix for this problem in which you need to get in to the registry and change the values.

Just run the Registry Editor by typing  “regedit”  from Start>>Run

In the registry editor follow this path

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

In the right hand side change the value of “hidden” to 1 and you are done! Changing it to zero will hide it again.

Sagar Alias Jacky(SAJ) reloaded Review

SAJ is the most awaited Malayalam movie this year,Sequel to IRUPATHAM NOOTANDU(1987) directed by KM madhu, Script by SN Swamy. Sagar Alias Jackey  reloaded hit the theaters today -Direction,Cinematography by Amal Neerad and script by the same SN Swamy.So whats  SAJ? Did the sequel did justice to the old super hit and to Mallu Audience?I had some preconceptions in my mind before watching the movie.Now I am back from theater , and I think that my Preconceptions were right! Here are my views about the movie.

Summary

First of all the movie cant be said as a secquel to Irupatham Nootandu as the only common factor is Sagar Alias Jacky.Clearly it have been done for initials. The movie starts with Shobana Seeking help of Sagar Alias jackey.Her husband (Manoj K Jayan)was kidnapped,and of course Jackey comes for the rescue and he never fails in his mission.And on to the starting titles ,i think that it was outstanding  this happens to be one of the best starting titles I’ve seen in my life(was up to or near to the starting credits of Rang De Basanti) and then the story develops basing on the Kidnap incident.More and more Scenario occurs connecting that incident.

So whats in the movie which glue you on  to the seats?In one word the answer will be “STYLE”.yes another Big B is born,but this time something more! SAJ is the most stylish movie ever made in Malayalam.Amal Neerad is truly a Diamond to the Malayalam Industry.Taking a wild guess.. he will direct only 1 or 2 more movies in Malayalam(After all he will be in Bollywood or Hollywood).He can definitely direct the Dhoom Series… His shots in Deserts were on par with the desert scenes (Namibia) in Dhoom 2! He used the same stuffs like Cars(Pajero,Hummer),Glasses,Jackets and Guns as in Big B as style elements.Every shots looks beautiful.Dirty locations too appears stylish in his frames,On the way of Jacky and his crew to rescue Manoj K Jayan,they have some talks in a dirty corner .Its lighting itself is superb,yellow light illuminates the dirty corner and the corner looks Stylish!

What comes next is the excellent background scores by Gopi Sunder,the old theme music was remixed wonderfully,BGM was perfectly matching with the shots of Amal Neerad.Songs were also done by Gopi Sunder, it seemed okay.

Was this a perfect one? No, Not at all. As a total movie it wasn’t that perfect ,the script was pretty  weak,i don’t know whether we can call it weak but it was that predictable and usual,nothing new was delivered by

SN SWAMY.Swamy is now no where near his old mighty days,recent movies like Positive,Nerariyan CBI,Balram vs. Tharadas etc clearly depicts that ,So me too  wasn’t expecting a good script for the movie.Dialogues also wasn’t that good but not that bad.

Another drawback was the character of Jagathy ,it was truly unnecessary and had nothing to do in the movie, comes on to the screen often and says some blah blah (humor was aimed,but wasn’t able to deliver it)it didn’t become  that irritating as Jagathy was handling the role.Anyone other than Jagathy would have been irritating as the dialogues were not at all humorous.

I wonder why Amal Neerad also choose the conventional path of love!An element like love was totally unsuitable for the movie,now you might have got the point, as usual Bhavana falls in love with Sagar.

In total Sagar Alias Jackey is definitely worth a watch.If anyone ask me to say about the movie in one word I would reply “Stylish Package”.if you desire to see the movie ,a theater watch will be the best option rather than waiting for the DVDs,as the whole new technologies used for the movie are more apt  for a theater watch.

REDCHILLIES- doesnt even deserve a star!

This happens to be the movie which i’ve slept  the most(in a  theater),Doesnt mean that its the worst film i’ve watched (in theater or …).But the movie is a total crap.How comes Shaji Kailas and AK Sajan get that much Dumb!?Getting frank..Sound Of Boot of Shaji Kailas was far better than this!

So what is Red Chillies? Nothing but a mere adaptation of Chintamani Kolacase with some controversial topics and a  poor written script.

Telugu Movies are now released in malayam theaters even without dubbing,I was searching for a reason and after Redchillies i got the answer.

There were one period in the 80s-90s from which the Tamil cinema only had good cinemas as a remake of Malayalam movies(Eventhough they were remade to the worse),Movies like Thenmavin Kompathu  or even Bharatam by Vijayakanth!! Some days before a tamil minister said that the keralites cant make a movie like Subramaniapuram even if 50 years are given!From where did these people gain that  much guts  to challenge a Kingdom in which Padmarajan,Bharatan etc where the emperors?

Anyways as usual Mohanlal did justice to OMR ,but nothing in the movie other than that.

I was planning to give a 0 star to Red Chillies but as there were some past Vinayan Movies, i am giving

AbdullaKutty MP Suspended From CPM for 1 year.

On to the flashback!

CPM, MP Abdullakutty  said , he would give Gujarat CM Narendra Modi (BJP) 100/100 for the developments and upheavals he made in Gujarat.He also said that we have to make Modi as an example as far as developments are concerned .

Later Abdullakutty re clarified his comment saying he only support the upheavel techniques used by Modi and will never say to imitate Modi’s Hindu terrorism.

Modi have made tremendous developments in Guajarat,educationally,industrially and so on.He was able to bring a fair amount of investors,co operated with lots of Multis.

Recently with solid evidence it was found that Modi has (made ) killed lots of peoples on basis of hinduism,yet he was elected again? Why? its because of the tremendous developments which he have made in Gujarat.

Vaikom Viswan(CPM) responded to Abdullakutty ussing lots of Rash words

We cant blame The CPms including Vaikom Viswan as they are the peoples who put a HARTAL (When Congress ruled) on the day when BMW came for a business in Kerala(Thank god they dropped it!).As usual Vaikom Viswan and all other holy peoples crucified Abdullakutty.

Abdullakutty shows two fine examples about the faulty attitudes in kerala.

1. In Bangalore lots of templates were removed in order to full fill a Bypass.But what happens in kerala?For example take the case of Kannur Bypass(on progress) ,strikes and protest  are going on saying the walls of the Churches and Temples will be affected

2. We have lots of investors(abroad  and all) who are ready to invest their money in kerala ,but who all dare to do that in a state with 83 days Hartal and all in an year!

According to Abdullakutty ,this attitude should be changed as far as Keralites are concerned.I was thinking how developed would be kerala if this man was our our CM instead of some others who wastes their precious time in Making fun on others(DOG,Verukkapettavan and all) on  such a reputed position?

Personally I also hate modi in for his Hindu Policy.But the developments which  he made in gujarat were  tremendous,Just google it and you will find more about Modies Policies.

Okay in short what did this man say ?,he just wished the development of kerala(which may be an exaggeration) and suggested an idea for it,instead of utilising that he was give 1 year BAN from the Kerala Marxists Party.I wonder Why do these guys hate the word Development that Much!!?

The Tour Review

Had My semester 4 tour 2 days before.This is only  a review about the experiences in our pit stops  and many entertainments(Drinks and all…) are censored and cant tell it through my blog.

Started with the most boring industry TELC where  we saw some transformers and blah blah by their heads..

Over to Veegaland(In every college there will be guys to support veegaland) and it was the result of this insistence.Got on to veegaland at around 2.00 PM ,Bejoy,now Bejoy sir gave strict orders to come back at 6.30 Pm(Who cares! hehe..)Started rockingly. Staline and me went for  a round  and when turned around i saw the emptiness! A problem of the  veegaland ,once lost its difficult to find!.Later we found Bejoy Sir,Atul,Bipin(Snuggy),etc and finally got Ajneev and Vince on the way .We all went on to Rapid River which was funny..just travelling on the individual tube as a gang. i think I was the one who was drowned by others the most!

Bejoy,the man with extraordinary swimming power and water experience and the credit (He said  about the failure of  lots of guys(His College mates including my brother Jojo Joson and all) who tried drowning him.It was some difficult to drown him, he resisted the rapid river but on to wave pool we drowned , dipped him into the pool. OMG Bejoy sir took the vengeance and after all it was a drowning series..!

And after some rides on to the great twin flip monster.This time Bejoy sir said he isn’t interested,I wonder his ability to sense dangers!! hehe .. me along with Vince ,stalin and two girls Nithu,Neethi got on to the twin flip monster

It is something in which we gets turned 360 degrees and  will be thrown away by it…

anyway first one went okay.. no problems at all ,all liked that,then the problem maker, I wonder how he can ?!! LOL) Vince said why cant we do that once again?I wasn’t that  interested but did that again.We got on to the seats and Vince said to the operator..

“Enthuva chetta ithu oru sughamillalo?Nalla muttu ayittu itte …”.he gave a return smile with a thumbs up an I sensed some danger..
after all i cant remember anything(i felt like i will vomit while i was in ride).finally it was over.. No one can even walk,I managed to seat in a block.i didn’t know what was happening to me. There was a symbol of Monster in the twin flip monster and  he was playing round me laughing.Anyway this ride spoiled my  1 hour, and i had one of my worst 1 hours in my life..

Over to Hogganakkal next day morning (11.00 Am) and me along with Vince,Ajneev,Stalin,Suby and Bejoy (by the time he became our team member LOL..) and shakti vel annai(a cool person) who was our boat man.

Hogganakkal was superb experience it gave us something new! And we were in our own Kailies(Lunky)

Next  over to mettupalayam, a camp fire there..I have had some guitar experiments(a.k.a Dance steps) there (Atul becomes my teacher).By the time  Me,Atul and Bipin became the much reputed singers.And the most bad thing was that  i got a damn fever ,we had a stay at Mettupalayam.Next day got up at morning 3.00 am(Many of the guys didn’t sleep at all! ) over to ooty and to Wayanad and now comes the outcome of a weak tour plan.

Edakkal caves and Kuruva Island were scheduled at wayanad and for your information both were failures.Some conquered the edakkal caves(Vince,suby,tiju,staline,and anusree represented the gals) but most of  the others stopped half way as there was no time to visit Kuruva Islands.After the fooding at 2.30 pm we recognized that it was impossible to reach kuruva on time ,so dropped it  and went to the Dam and on to a Boating (Bad luck!… It too was closed!).And after that we head on to our own shelters!

Special thanks to the efforts taken by Jino,Tiju,Nijo etc.

VERDICT

I still have to decide my rating out of 5 ,anyway it should be in between 2.5-3 scale (I think!).I think i can decide it by tommorow.

A Wednesday-A movie relevant to the current situation

A Wednesday was a recent flick in bollywood and did some good in the box office.Some of my friends said about this film  and i decided to watch it,so day before yesterday i watched the movie.The movie is about some incidents happening in one Wednesday.Some terrorist activities(bomb blasts and all )happens and the movie says the story after the blasts.

I am not spoiling the mood of the movie by saying the story ,its a must watch regarding the current situation(Lots of similarities with the Mumbai incident).But one thing i would like to disclose about the movie is,The movie is not about anti terrorism and all and no terrorist will be reformed seeing this movie.But the movie is a good thought,its about a strange thinking of a common man or  as in the movie -Strange thought of a stupid Common man.

Good performances by the veterans Nasseruddin Shah and Anupam kher.

The movie is just  1.30 hours and that’s all what the movie demands.And finally, It ends in a stunning climax.

Real threats to human life

What can one do if a man comes to you and simply starts shooting all over?Thats what  happened yesterday.Terrorism is gaining more and more strength.After the Banglore series blasts,officers said that they’ve arrested ,killed lots of terrorists including the brains  and there are no  chances for any more blasts as they have destroyed the brains.

3 months passed and something much bigger happened yesterday!!

What is the Motto?

The action was well planned-Shoot the peoples and throw grenade once the police come.In Oberoi and Taj,  foreigners were selected and  attacked.And  at Bangalore , focus was not on Death,most bombs were blasted on less dense areas.But at the end of blasts most of the IT companies were collapsed and suffered huge loss.

So their Motto is nothing but to stand against the development of India and to oppose the forien impact on India.

Their use of gun was so perfect that they could even easily resist the well trained Indian Force(Killed some of them),and  this can only be gained via experience ,As India is a dense country they  should not have been trained in  india(its not safe) but from other countires, and then back to india for the attack!

Anyway what Policemen can do if one terrorist comes and simply shoots the peoples?

I was improved in steps by steps, 15,20, 25 and finally i reached 31.5.By the time,how many times might  have I entered Amit bhawanis blog to play the game…?hehe I dont remeber.. hmm .. He is not losing anything by giving these free domains right?
